How to Make Halloween Treat Rolls
Step 1: Cut Your Paper Towel Rolls
Start by saving your empty paper towel rolls. Cut each roll in half to create two smaller cardboard tubes.
If you’re making these for a party or classroom, start collecting your rolls early. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can save enough for an entire batch!
Step 2: Fill With Treats
Add your favorite Halloween candy or small surprises inside each cardboard roll.
You can fill every treat roll with the same goodies or mix them up so no one knows exactly what they’re going to get.
Step 3: Wrap the Treat Rolls
Place a filled cardboard roll onto a piece of Halloween tissue paper and wrap it completely.
Leave enough tissue paper extending beyond both ends of the cardboard tube. This extra paper is what creates the oversized wrapped-candy look.
Step 4: Twist and Tie the Ends
Gather the tissue paper at each end and secure it with ribbon.
Mixing different ribbons is an easy way to make the finished treats look even more fun. I used a combination of pink, black, and sparkly ribbon to coordinate with my Halloween tissue paper.
Step 5: Add Spooky Details
Now for the fun part!
